Our position

Materials,
understood.

Finished rolls of PVC-coated tarpaulin fabric stored in the TAK Techtextil warehouse

Many suppliers can provide you with yarn or coated fabric. But few understand how these materials perform during fabrication, nor what properties they need for real-world service conditions — including the processing temperatures and speeds required. TAK Techtextil operates across both ends of this supply chain, with expertise flowing in both directions.

01

Material science first

Polymer selection, denier, tenacity, shrinkage and additive chemistry are decided before a single metre is woven. Our raw materials desk specifies inputs against the finished product’s duty cycle.

02

Application engineering

We know how a tarp behaves at −30 °C on a motorway, how a shade net ages at 180 kLy, how a spill berm holds 9,000 gallons on a fueling pad. That knowledge flows back into every material decision.

03

Certified proof

Every claim on this site is backed by a certificate, a declared value or a test report. Company systems and product lines are audited by independent, accredited bodies.

How quality is built in

From fibre to certified delivery.

Step 01

Fibre & polymer selection

Raw material specified against the end application — tenacity, UV package, shrinkage, coating affinity.

Step 02

Weaving, knitting & coating

In-house conversion on rapier looms, warp-knitting lines and knife-coating ranges, with inline process control.

Step 03

Laboratory verification

Tensile, tear, seam strength, cold-crack, xenon-arc weathering and colour fastness tested per batch.

Step 04

Certified delivery

Batch traceability, test reports on request, and declarations of performance for regulated product lines.
